Since
1988, Victoria has lived on and traveled to five continents.
Some of these travels are depicted here through
pictures and words.
Baghdad, Iraq (September 1988 - May 1990) Photos
& narrative.
Bonn, Germany (May 1991-May 1993) Almost all the photos I have of this time are of babies, as I had two in less than two years. I'll spare you the details and the photos.
Bombay, India (July 1993-July 1995) One of out favorite tours. I would walk through the slums of Bombay, near our house, with one kid on my back and one in my hand. The locals would come up to our light-skinned red-headed boys and pinch their cheeks and say how beautiful they were. This is one of my boy;s earliest, and least fond, memories. Photos
Peshawar, Pakistan (July 1998-March 2000) Photos
and narrative.
Harare, Zimbabwe (March 2000-February 2003) Photos
and narrative.
Egypt (December 2006-January 2007) Victoria took
a two week tour of gypt. Photos
Baltic Sea Area (June-July 2008 ) Victoria took a two week cruise of the Baltics. She has waited too long too put up pictues, so she can't identify all the locations, but her travels included Visby, Karlskrona, and Stockholm, Sweden, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Warnemunde, Germany, and Copenhagen. Photos.
Ecuador (Feb. 2011) Twelve days of travel included a couple of days in Guayaquil, and six in the Galapogos, on Isabela and Santa Cruz, an unusual land-based tour of the National Park. Most of the photos speak for themselves.
Panama Canal (Nov. 2011) Two weeks on a cruise ship, from San Diego to Panama City (with stops on the way), through the Panama Canal, to Cartagena, and back up to Ft. Lauderdale. Photos and narrative.
