I will make the river flow

Third Grade

I went for a walk in the forest. "Look" a bird [twet twet] and there's a deer. What is it running away from? I smell the tree. They smell like fresh fruit. A bear, that's what the deer was running away from. What's that up in the canopy? It's a monkey. It's time to go up to get away from the bear. There's lot's of bird's up here. I hear some humming. It's a humming bird. The leaves are smooth and the bark on the tree is really bumpy. The bear went away.  Let's go home.
